Quality Assurance Activities

In addition to its services related to Global Activity, the Professions, and Transnational Education, The Center provides international external evaluation services to national bodies and international institutions of postsecondary education (including higher education and vocational/occupational training institutions). In addition, The Center provides specialized external review processes in teacher education; and institutional quality assurance:

International Recognition in Teacher Education (IRTE)

IRTE is an external review process provided Schools and Colleges of Education throughout the globe by The Center in cooperation with The National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE). The 2007 NCATE Unit Standards are utilized for the IRTE process.

International Institute for Quality (IIQ)

IIQ is a generic institutional accreditation process created for CINDA, the premiere association of private institutions of higher education in Latin America. The external review process outlined in the IIQ Manual is applicable to institutions anywhere in the world. The Center can organize an international external review either utilizing these or other evaluative criteria for institutional quality.
